Learners are seated behind the wheel of a forklift (front or side loader). After checking that the forklift is in proper working order, learners are invited to move pallets around a warehouse, at an industrial site and on a loading dock. They must be alert to the different hazardous situations encountered and mindful of the risk of being confronted with a major accident.
Driving a forklift can be dangerous because of his proximity with pedestrians and other vehicles. The collision is one of the main cause of accidents involving a forklift, so that, it is important to have the good behavior at the wheel of this type of vehicle in order not to hit a pedestrian or damage the warehouse or the cargo stored.
For most people, the possible risk related to bad behavior are understood after having lived it. Indeed, an individual retains 20% of what he heard, and he retains 90% of what he felt. So, with VR your employees confront accident risks related to a bad behavior in a virtual environment. The Driving Behaviour - Forklift course is designed to promote your company's safety policy and aims to minimize work-related accidents.

• Experience a virtual simulation of an accident and its consequences.
For the company:
• Highlight and reproduce potentially hazardous situations and thereby alert employees to such risks.
• Ensure that employees follow procedures when driving.
• Analyze and measure how employees react to such hazardous situations.
• Raise awareness and produce a long-term influence on behavior with virtual reality.

Equipment required
A Virtual Reality headset such as HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, or Windows Mixed Reality compatible (Samsung Odyssey, Dell Visor, HP Windows Mixed Reality…), connected to a VR Ready PC. With an Internet connection, you can view your reports and update your courses.
