Each year, over 100,000 workplace fires occur in the United States. Beyond property damage, these incidents can result in serious injuries or even fatalities. A major fire is often enough to jeopardize a company’s future — 75% of affected businesses go bankrupt within three years of a serious incident.

Yet, when faced with a fire, many people panic, hesitate, or make poor decisions due to lack of preparation. That’s why it is crucial to train your employees in proper reflexes and safe extinguisher use.

Our augmented reality (AR) simulator provides a realistic, immersive, and risk-free training experience, accessible directly from a smartphone.

An Immersive and Engaging Simulator

Using a smartphone or tablet camera, trainees visualize life-sized fires in their own environment — office, home, training room — through photorealistic 3D modeling.

Realistic visuals and sound, a countdown timer, and interactive alerts (such as incorrect distance or wrong extinguisher choice) recreate the stress of a real-life emergency, but with zero physical danger.

The simulator allows for unlimited, self-paced practice for up to 20 hours, across various realistic and educational scenarios.

Learning Objectives

This AR fire safety training is designed to:

  • Recognize different classes of fires (A, B, C, D, F)
  • Use a fire extinguisher correctly and safely
  • Respond with calm and clarity during an emergency
  • Identify common fire hazards in the workplace
  • Prevent risky behavior that can lead to fires
  • Apply best practices during evacuation procedures

Who Should Attend

This training is suitable for all employees, regardless of role or experience level. It fits perfectly within:

  • Corporate fire prevention plans
  • Safety training or onboarding programs
  • Public facilities, offices, factories, warehouses, schools, and more

Included Training Scenarios (4)

1. Wastebasket Fire

A Class A fire is triggered by cigarette butts and a flammable liquid thrown into a trash bin. Trainees learn to select the correct extinguisher for solid combustibles.

2. Overloaded Power Strip Fire

An extension cord powers too many devices (heater, kettle, coffee machine, phone). A Class B fire starts. The trainee learns proper electrical safety and fire prevention.

3. Electrical Cabinet Fire

A damaged cable starts a Class C fire, producing thick black smoke. The simulation emphasizes that water must never be used on electrical fires.

4. Gas Boiler Explosion

A boiler catches fire, requiring users to shut off the gas before acting. A wrong decision leads to a virtual explosion, reinforcing critical decision-making under pressure.

Why Choose This AR Training?

  • Immersive AR experience – Works on smartphones or tablets, no VR headset needed
  • Ultra-realistic simulation – Includes fire, smoke, alarms, time pressure
  • Zero physical risk – Safe, repeatable training anywhere
  • Engaging format – Mistakes have visible (virtual) consequences
  • Multilingual & flexible – Available in English, French, Spanish (others on request)
  • Easily integrated – Compatible with all fire prevention and safety training programs
