Spot the 7 Hazards
Spot the 7 Hazards is an I-learning Games observation application, spot-the-difference style: a work environment in seven illustrated scenes, seven hazards to find in each. Each team searches on its tablet, and everyone debriefs together at the end of each scene.
Key Benefits of Spot the 7 Hazards
- 11 work environments, from offices to building sites
- 7 illustrated scenes per environment, 7 hazards to find in each, and good practices to trap the players
- About twenty minutes per environment
- A guided correction, hazard by hazard, with explanations based on INRS publications and the French Labour Code
The Training Challenges
Habit and routine make us blind to everyday dangers. Spotting a hazardous situation is the first act of prevention. Spot the 7 Hazards trains that eye on scenes close to the field, in a fast game format where every missed hazard becomes a learning opportunity.
Objectives of the Spot the 7 Hazards Training
Each environment is played in seven scenes: an overview, then six close-ups. In each scene, each team has seven taps: a hazard found scores from 10 to 1 point depending on speed, a mistake costs 2, and the team that finds all seven earns a time bonus. The projected screen shows each team's progress, never where the hazards are. At the end of each scene, the correction shows and explains each hazard, then the traps; the podium names the most missed hazard.
For the Learner:
- Train their eye on realistic work situations,
- Tell a real hazard from a good practice,
- Understand each hazard through the correction and its explanation.
For the Company:
- Choose the environment closest to your trades,
- Run a short workshop, easy to rotate during a safety day or to fit into a team meeting,
- Identify the hazards your teams spot least,
- Facilitate without heavy preparation thanks to the facilitator guide and the printable answer key for the seven scenes, to keep for yourself.
