Julie Grondin, Quality, Hygiene, Safety, and Environment Manager at Vilquin, agreed to answer our questions about her experience with virtual reality and the SafetyBox VR©. Vilquin is part of the Fayat group and specializes in steel construction, particularly in the nuclear, national defense, railway, airport, and logistics sectors.

Why did you choose the SafetyBox VR©? How do you use it? How often?

"We use it for our safety days, during our awareness sessions, and during our safety briefings."

What needs does the use of virtual reality address for your HSE training?

"Virtual reality meets a need for QHSE awareness and puts our employees in real-life conditions."

At this stage, what are the added values and areas for improvement that you associate with virtual reality in the HSE field?

"After several years with the headset and exercises, we quickly covered all the themes. It's a shame because it's harder to use."

Have you noticed a difference before and after using virtual reality?

"Yes, there are fewer accidents and more awareness from the employees."

Would you recommend the SafetyBox VR©?

"Yes, I would recommend it while warning about the limitation of theme usage."

You too can raise your employees' awareness throughout the year with unlimited access to the SafetyBox VR© and its catalog of 30 exercises!

New exercises are constantly being developed to enhance the catalog. Additionally, the exercises currently in the catalog are regularly updated. We notably did a graphic update of some exercises at the beginning of the year.

To diversify your awareness sessions, you also have the option to choose the risks you want to address in the exercises. You can hold sessions on fire risks, electrical risks, or fall risks.
