Board Games
Board Games is an I-learning Games application with two big board games to project: the board is shown big, each team plays on its tablet and the facilitator runs the game from a phone, to bring prevention to life in teams.
Key Benefits of Board Games
- Two complete games: Safety Trail and A Thousand Accident-Free Days
- The board shown big on the projected screen, one tablet per team
- A remote control on a phone: roll the die, judge the challenges, see the right answer without showing it
- Themes of your choice to match the hazards of your company
The Training Challenges
A board game naturally brings people together: they talk, debate an answer and help each other move forward. This friendly setting gets people talking about prevention, including those who rarely speak up in training. Thinking about a question together or taking on a challenge as a team anchors good habits far better than passive learning.
Objectives of the Board Games Training
Two games, two moods. Safety Trail is a 30-square race board: questions by theme, challenges, lucky and unlucky squares; a right answer scores 10 points, and teams must collect a piece for every theme. A Thousand Accident-Free Days is a race to 1,000 days without an accident, with a deck of 106 cards: hazards to play against the other teams, remedies for yourself, prevention aces and counter-attacks.
For the Learner:
- Review prevention fundamentals by answering questions and taking on challenges,
- Talk with colleagues about good practice and their own habits,
- Remember good reflexes through play and the end-of-game debriefing.
For the Company:
- Run a team-building workshop of about one hour, for 2 to 4 teams,
- Adapt the game: themes, number of rounds, time per question, short format of A Thousand Days (700 days),
- Spot the topics to work on by watching the answers during the game,
- Facilitate without heavy preparation thanks to the facilitator guide (running order, posture, challenges and success criteria).
How a Session Works
- The application opens in the browser from your Immersive Factory portal, with your I-learning Games licence,
- The board is projected; each team joins on its tablet by scanning a QR code or typing a code,
- A team without a tablet can play from the screen or the remote control,
- A session lasts about one hour: welcome, rules, 30 to 40 minutes of play, debriefing and results,
- You will need: a computer connected to a projector, an internet connection, one tablet per team; optionally, a giant foam die,
- The games are currently available in French.
Target Audience for the Board Games Training
- All employees, across all sectors,
- Newcomers (onboarding) and temporary workers,
- Field teams, managers and administrative staff.
