Viva Technology Event 2019

Viva Technology Event 2019

This is the annual meeting of technological innovations and startups not to be missed! Immersive Factory will be present at the Vivatech event from May 16 to 18 2019 at the Pavillon de Versailles for a 4th edition marked by ambition.

 The 2019 edition Agenda

Last year, more than 100,000 visitors came to meet 9,000 young French and foreign start-ups. This year, VivaTech announced new ambitions and wants to consolidate its position as a major event in Europe for innovators from all over the world. To this end, it will offer even more comfort and services to startups, exhibitors, speakers and visitors, ensuring that the quality of the reception meets the standards of major international events. The event will therefore take place not only in Hall 1 of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles but also in Hall 2.2 and the Dôme de Paris - Palais des Sports.

Pavilion 1 will, as always, host the centre of the event, including:

  • The Tech Hall, which is the heart of innovation
  • Open Innovation labs where large international companies host startups (1800 last year) to accelerate their digital transformation and offer growth opportunities
  • Conference rooms with expert and prospective content
  • And also a brand new programming with surprising and new innovations.

The Paris Dome (Palais des Sports) next to Pavilion 1 and with its 4,400 seats will be used by VivaTech to host meetings with the world's top technology leaders. In 2018, Mark Zuckerberg, Satya Nadella, Ginni Rometty and Dara Khosrowshahi were among the top speakers at the event.

Finally, a second hall (Pavilion 2.2) will be dedicated to networking and business opportunities. It will house a business centre and lounges, a food court and spaces dedicated to recruitment..... This new hall will also increase the number of entry points and reduce queues. The outdoor areas will be used more, with food trucks and numerous animations to test, create, have fun and celebrate innovation.

This new configuration of the premises will therefore have as an incident to facilitate access to the site to the conference rooms. Finally, it will improve the connectivity, air conditioning and catering offer for a more fluid experience throughout the event and an even richer programme.
