Construction sites are inherently high-risk environments. Every detail matters, and a single oversight can have dramatic consequences. Falls remain the leading cause of death in the construction industry, yet most of these accidents are preventable with proper training.

Our AR simulator places your teams in an interactive, immersive, and realistic worksite, helping them learn how to identify and mitigate risks before it’s too late.

An Immersive and Realistic AR Simulator

Using a smartphone camera, learners can view a full-scale construction site rendered in photorealistic 3D within their actual environment. Defects and hazards are accurately modeled based on real-world examples and validated by fall prevention experts.

Trainees can:

  • Move freely around the virtual jobsite
  • Examine defects from all angles
  • Train in near-real conditions, without any physical risk

Training Objectives

This AR-based training enables participants to:

  • Detect fall-related hazards in construction environments
  • Identify risk factors: unstable anchor points, trip hazards, damaged equipment
  • Develop safe habits during jobsite inspections
  • Understand the real-world consequences of unsafe conditions

The goal: train a sharp eye to prevent, not just react.

Who is it for?

This training is designed for all professionals who work at height, whether beginners or experienced workers:

  • Construction workers
  • Roofers
  • Carpenters
  • Maintenance and safety personnel
  • Anyone exposed to fall hazards on rooftops or elevated structures

Included Training Scenario: Fall Prevention Inspection

In this scenario, users explore a life-sized construction site via AR, with highly detailed 3D visuals displayed through their smartphone camera. The environment is safe yet incredibly authentic.

Simulation flow:

  1. The experience begins with a bird’s-eye view of an animated construction model, with visible workers.
  2. The user selects one of three roof zones and is teleported to the top floor, 20 meters above ground level.
  3. Within a 150 m² area, they must inspect the site to identify 12 critical fall hazards, including:
  • Poorly anchored lifelines
  • Undersized safety nets
  • Excessively long lanyards
  • Roof panels cluttered with canisters
  • Loose materials creating trip hazards
  • Damaged fixtures threatening structural integrity

Users can freely navigate the space, zoom in on critical points, and conduct a realistic safety inspection.

Why Choose This Training?

  • Immersive technology: Augmented reality via smartphone — no headset or complex setup required
  • Hands-on, risk-free learning: More engaging than traditional e-learning, without real-world danger
  • Validated by experts: Built in collaboration with certified fall prevention professionals
  • Ideal for company-wide safety programs: Boosts awareness, complements existing training, and supports regular skill refreshers
