The “Error Room” workshop immerses users in augmented reality. They learn to identify risks and follow proper procedures.
The World Health Organization estimates that, in developed countries, 1 in 10 hospitalized patients suffers harm related to healthcare. Around 50% of these adverse events are preventable.
The Error Room is an innovative, simulation-based training method. It enables healthcare professionals and students to identify errors and unsafe practices in a safe, immersive, and engaging environment.
This augmented reality (AR) simulator allows anyone to learn how to respond to risks present in a hospital room — in a realistic, hands-on training environment with zero danger.
Our mobile AR simulator recreates a photorealistic 3D hospital room.

Each scenario features a 3D-rendered hospital room with a patient in bed.
Using the camera of a smartphone or tablet, the trainee freely navigates the environment and identifies any situation that could endanger the patient’s health or safety.
There are five scenarios available, each based on a specific clinical context (pathology, age, treatment). More scenarios will be added over time.
